My voluntary editorial work for KUKI Express shares a surprising amount of DNA with my professional daily life. While the subject matter differs and our collaboration is more personal and heartfelt than most corporate environments, the same principle holds true for community work: it is never enough to “simply post content.” Instead, the focus must always be on understanding what truly interests our audience, crafting content that resonates, and ensuring our stories are genuinely heard.

As Editor-in-Chief of KUKI Express — the online publication for the KUKI e. V. association — I oversee story development, provide editorial feedback, sub-edit contributions, and manage content for the CMS. Ultimately, I am navigating the same questions that define corporate communications: Who are we trying to reach? Which topics truly strike a chord? And how do we frame our stories to keep the reader engaged until the very end?

What I find most rewarding is collaborating with an editorial team I helped establish — a group of like-minded individuals who share my passion for music, culture, and the art of a great story.
